Rebeca

Rebeca holds a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and forensic psychology from Marymount University and is a fully licensed mental health provider in the state of Virginia. She has years of experiencing providing mental health services in a variety of settings and levels of care, including outpatient therapy and intensive in-home counseling.

Rebeca focuses her clinical work on treating trauma in both children and adults. She utilizes trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as other play therapy modalities, such as therapeutic sandtray, to treat trauma in children. She is trained in EMDR for PTSD in adults and adolescents. She has experience in working with children and families dealing with major life adjustments, anxiety and depression, and oppositional behaviors.
