Ashley is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governor’s University in 2017 and graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022.
Before she began her career as a Nurse Practitioner, Ashley worked as a psychiatric registered nurse for over 8 years treating adult and geriatric populations with various mental health care needs in acute inpatient and correctional settings. Ashley believes medication management is just one part of successful mental health care and integrates therapy, self-care, and mindfulness while working collaboratively with her clients to identify goals of treatment throughout their journey. She follows a holistic approach to mental health by exploring lifestyle changes including exercise, sleep, and diet in addition to conventional medicine. Ashley views each client as a unique individual and not their diagnosis and strives to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health care. She provides care across the lifespan to include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, thought disorders, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, substance use disorders.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, traveling and acrylic painting.
