Joe

Joe (he/him) owns and works as an outpatient therapist at Peninsula Child & Family Services. He holds an active state license to practice clinical social work in Virginia and served as Vice Chair for the Virginia Society for Clinical Social Work's tidewater chapter. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University and then attained his master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Joe worked at Hampton Roads' busiest group practice where he spent time serving clients as an outpatient therapist. Additionally, Joe has recently done on-call emergent mental health evaluations and abuse calls for Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters' emergency room in Norfolk, where he was trusted by the hospital to make complex decisions affecting Hampton Roads' children & families who, at times, found themselves in his consult at their most desperate moment.

Joe now works exclusively at Peninsula Child & Family Services where he oversees clinical and administrative operations while managing his own caseload of clients.
