Julianne received Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Old Dominion University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently pursing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, also from Liberty University.

Julianne is a Resident in Counseling and is under the supervision of Shenay Wharton, LPC, CSAC and Christina Jones, LCSW, RPT-S. She has experience providing outpatient services to children and teens with a wide variety of presenting problems. Julianne utilizes a developmental and strength-based approach to counseling. She is very passionate about utilizing child-centered play therapy with young children but draws from other treatment modalities such as CBT and solution-focused therapy based on the client’s needs. She is also a U.S. Navy veteran and enjoys working with military families on issues related to the military lifestyle.
