Leah earned her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2021. Leah is a resident in counseling and is working under the supervision of Amanda Zuccaro, LPC.
Leah has experience working with various populations; including children, adolescents, adults, and families of varying cultures and backgrounds. In addition to working in a private practice, she has experience facilitating group therapy and has worked as a school counselor providing social-emotional learning. Leah found a specific interest in holistic wellness while working for a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting nature play for health and happiness.
Leah works with individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and issues with identity or self-esteem. Leah also enjoys supporting clients through relationship challenges and difficult life transitions. Her goal is to assist individuals in cultivating self-awareness and clarity through emotional processing and self-expression. In her free time, Leah enjoys attending live music, spending time with her pets and loved ones, and trying new forms of creative expression.
