Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Memphis. She has worked with children, adolescents, and their families in a number of settings, including as a professional school counselor.
Jennifer has experience working with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, oppositional behaviors, trauma/post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, and strained family dynamics. Jennifer has a collaborative approach. She engages clients through a validating and supportive relationship and incorporates various approaches drawing from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, strengths based, and family systems. Jenifer’s goal is to help her clients grow in insight and skills to address their unique situation.
In her free time, Jennifer works with the YWCA of Hampton Roads, providing crisis advocacy services to individuals experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence. She enjoys being active in the community and spending time with family and friends.
