Tiara Fisher

Tiara Fisher is a United States Navy Veteran that transitioned into the human services field shortly after her military service. She earned her Associates in Social Science Degree from Virginia Peninsula Community College in 2016. She went on to graduate from Norfolk State University with her BSW. Tiara worked as a case manager providing counseling and auxiliary services to recently released federal prisoners on the Peninsula. While working with newly released prisoners, she earned her MSW from Walden University. 

Tiara is a Supervisee in Social Work. She has a plethora of experience working in schools and mental health facilities with children, adolescents, and young adults. Through this experience, she obtained her certification as a qualified mental health professional for adults and children. She has supported children, adolescents, and young adults through group and individual counseling. Tiara has experience in providing substantial resources that further support families in transitioning periods of their lives. Tiara is passionate about her community and empowering individuals and families through evidence-based therapy.
